I don't do political donations anymore but if I did I might be more than a little annoyed if I knew the money I donated to MY choice went to someone who never belonged in Congress to begin with.

That has been said for over 50 years. It is just another Democrat scare tactic to use on old people like saying the GOP wants children to starve.

An email from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare (with my comments added in brackets):

During a recent congressional hearing, Senator Tommy Tuberville (AL) railed against Social Security saying, “This is all a s**m.” He went onto claim that, “We don’t have any of your money. We’re dead broke.”
[You might remember Tubberville as the football coach Alabamians elected because... You all might understand why better than I].

But he didn’t stop there … Senator Tuberville also tried to make the case for privatizing Social Security, which would benefit Wall Street brokers and subject your earned benefits to the volatility of the Stock Market. [Because Coach Tuberville suddenly understands the implications of privatizing SS... Not so much I'm thinking. Probably no better than he understood what happens when all military officer promotions are held up for on the top on down].

The t***h is Social Security is not going bankrupt. Some politicians and opponents of Social Security just want you to believe it is. Saying that this program is a s**m and that it’s in imminent danger of financial collapse is a scare tactic, pure and simple — and false justification to cut benefits and privatize this successful and popular government program.

Senator Tuberville seems to be picking up the same talking points of former President Donald Trump who once called Social Security a “Ponzi scheme.” And his comments demonstrate just how out of touch some lawmakers are when it comes to the benefits that retirees like you have paid into and earned during a lifetime of hard work — and that you are counting on for a secure retirement.

According to the latest Social Security Trustees Report, Social Security is able to pay full benefits through 2035, after which the program will still pay about 80% of benefits. To avert the projected 20% cut in benefits in 2035 and ensure the success of Social Security for years to come, there are reasonable, modest adjustments that can be made.

That’s why the National Committee supports the immediate passage of the "Social Security 2100 Act" (H.R. 4583/S. 2280), a landmark bill that would provide an across-the-board benefit increase for all beneficiaries and strengthen Social Security’s solvency by making the wealthy pay their fair share into the program.

Bottom line, radical changes, including privatization, are not necessary to “save” Social Security. Indeed, proposals to privatize Social Security would deeply undermine the program’s long-term health, and most Americans have flatly opposed this dangerous idea. However, Senator Tuberville and other lawmakers in Washington continue to push harmful changes to pay down deficits this program didn’t cause in the first place.

Sincerely,

Max Richtman
President & CEO

A Challenge to All OPP Liberals

The most r****t statement I ever heard came from Bennie Thompson, Grand Inquisitor of the J****** 6 C*******e. It was never mentioned in the media.

I was working in The Delta Health Center in Greenville, Mississippi and we went to an anniversary celebration at the parent clinic in Mound Bayou. It was founded under Lyndon B. Johnson's War on Poverty to bring affordable health care to the medically indigent across the country. The featured speaker was none other than the Honorable Bennie Thompson. During his address he said that it was 'important that we get medical care from people who look like us.'

What difference does it matter what the care provider looks like? And doesn't Christian Scripture say that we're all created in the likeness of God?

I took that statement to be an insult to my integrity as a physician. I am sure that I have failed in providing perfect care to everyone but I don't think I've ever done less than my best based on skin color.

The local NBC affiliate had its cameras there and the newspapers had their reporters there but there was no mention of it in the newscasts and broadcast media.

And I am sure NotMAGA, that this doesn't bother you in the least nor does it matter to any of the other self-righteous liberal blowhards of OPP.

And to NotMAGA and all those other OPP liberals, please take this as a challenge to respond!

We’ve always known that if Donnie loses again in November, he’ll just do what he did last time and say it was r****d. In his mind, this is the only way he can fail. He has a shockingly high opinion of himself, especially considering how many times he’s failed in the past. He creates these storylines in his head to dodge acknowledging his losses. It’s sad, but in the MAGA alternate universe, it works.

So, what do we think The Donald is searching for most in a VP candidate? Someone who will be ready to stand with him as he refuses to accept the results of a fair and free e******n in November. Someone who will help him file bogus lawsuits across the country with the MyPillow guy. Someone who will lie to the American people regardless of what they actually believe.

Since the dog murderer seems to be digging herself into a deeper hole by the day, keep an eye on a sycophant like Tim Scott. Man, does it seem like he wants the job. In case you missed it, Tim went on Meet The Press last Sunday and did exactly what Trump would want him to do. And no, we’re not talking about offering to pick up his legal bills. Scott was pressed on whether he’d accept the results of the 2024 e******n and he just dodged the question. Five times. We’re guessing that means no. This is MAGA today.

We all remember what happened a little over three years ago after President Biden whooped Trump in the e******n. The orange messiah called all of his cult members up to Washington and we sat and watched as our Capitol was taken over by a bunch of violent i**********nists wearing MAGA hats and camo. A police officer was murdered, elected officials were forced to hide in the basement, and – this is key for the veepstakes – they tried to hang Mike Pence. Trump's mob tried to hang the vice president.

What about this time? Can we take another J****** 6th? Are we supposed to believe that these same people won’t come back to Washington if Trump loses? He's already laying the groundwork.

While we really don’t want to find out, we’re going to have to. Our only option is to beat him so badly that nobody believes his e******n f***d tall tales. And make no mistake, whoever Trump picks for his VP will be an e******n denier and i**********n enthusiast. Is that really the team we want heading up this country? Didn’t think so.

While others talk — we're walking the walk. We're live right now in Arizona and Wisconsin running our hardest-hitting ads to the swing v**ers that will decide this e******n. Our commitment is to keep messaging those v**ers from now until E******n Day, but we can't do it without you. The Boy Scouts are causing controversy with their decision to rebrand, all in the name of “inclusivity.” On Wednesday, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) announced that the organization will officially change its name to “Scouting America.”

The BSA explained that this change reflects “the organization’s ongoing commitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of Scouting.” BSA CEO Roger Krone said, “Scouting America provides a welcoming, safe environment where youth can become the best version of themselves by learning from and respecting each other. I encourage everyone to join us and experience the benefits of Scouting.” Although the BSA notes that girls were welcomed into BSA ranks five years ago, the organization’s press release continues to use the term “youth,” instead of “boys and girls.”

In a video, Krone responded to critics of the BSA’s decision, explaining, “Membership is at historic lows. Part of my job is to reduce all the barriers I possibly can for people to accept us as an organization and to join.” He added that the name change “sends this really strong message to everyone in America that they can come to this program, they can bring their authentic self, they can be who they are, and they will be welcomed here.”

Commenting on the news, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said, “The Boy Scouts should have considered the Cicada Scouts for their new name, because they have become nothing more than a hollow shell of what they once were.” He added, “The Boy Scouts will now stand as a [stark] reminder of the cost of moral compromise.”

On Tuesday night’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Perkins expounded, “This was an organization for literally over a century, stood as an entity that helped train the next generation of boys. Its whole purpose when it started was to help boys become men, and eventually soldiers, to be able to defend the values that made Western civilization great.” He added, “It’s not what they are any longer,” warning, “Unfortunately, I actually think it is a [critical] message to the nation of what happens when you reject t***h.”

Joseph Backholm, FRC’s senior fellow for Biblical Worldview, commented to The Washington Stand, “Building anything meaningful requires compromise, cooperation, and sacrifice, but modern leftism sees these values as forms of oppression. Progressivism exists to critique and feels justified because everything manmade can be critiqued.” He continued, “The non-stop revolution makes leftism incapable of doing the things necessary to build a sustainable community, organization, university, or corporation, but it is perfectly suited to destroy any of those things through what is, in its most basic form, constant whining.”

Appearing with Perkins on “Washington Watch” on Tuesday night, FRC’s Senior Fellow for Education Studies Meg Kilgannon discussed the danger of eliminating essential distinctions between boys and girls. Frankly, she said, “The nation has come under a great cloud of confusion over [whether] there are boys or girls. And so, when children are going to school and saying, ‘You know, I think I might have been born in the wrong body … and the school feels compelled to affirm them in that … obviously there’s something very, very wrong.”

“It is the ultimate attack of demonic forces on the human person, to attack a growing child,” Kilgannon continued. “It’s the very work of adolescence to form your identity, to figure out what are you? What is God’s call on your life? What are you going to be when you grow up? What are you going to do with your life?” She added, “It’s your very core. The fact of whether or not you’re even a male or female, that’s truly debilitating. It doesn’t get much more basic than that.”

In 2013, Boy Scouts leadership v**ed to undo a longstanding policy barring membership to those who openly identify as homosexual, and moved in 2015 to formally permit openly-gay men to serve as adult leaders. In 2017, Boy Scouts leadership allowed biological girls who identify as t*********r to join its ranks, later opening the Boy Scouts to all girls and renaming the organization’s f**gship program, “Boy Scouting,” to “Scouting BSA.”

Franklin Graham, President of BGEA and Samaritan’s Purse, responded to the decision highlighting the Biblical foundation the Boy Scouts of America was founded upon.

“Talk about losing your way—that’s the Boy Scouts of America,” he wrote. “Their compass doesn’t point north anymore. “They want to be more ‘inclusive,’ so they’re changing their name to Scouting America. That won’t help. Being woke isn’t the need—staying focused and true to what God calls you to do is what’s important.”

“They should’ve just stuck with what they were founded to be 114 years ago,” Graham underscored. “The Boy Scouts Oath says, ‘On my honor I will do my best to do God’s will and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.’ It’s no surprise that thousands of parents are choosing other options like Trail Life USA which is a great Christ-centered alternative.”
